Events
The Cluster Mobility organizes several events to push the networking within the regional mobility sector. Our events cover the wide range of topics which matter for the mobility sector: Logistics, local public transport and e-mobility as highest priority.
Logistics night is an exclusive, invitation-only event which was held for the first time in 2005 and is supported by a limited number of premium partners. The concept was recognized with 2x silver by the German Dialog Marketing Prize and 2nd place in the national competition of the Deutsche Post AG.
The partners represent the entire value-added chain of logistics service providers from the region. An exciting "Logistics night experience" is organized for an exclusive group of participants. In addition to the regional partners, the guests comprise decision-makers from cross-regional companies who are introduced to North Hesse as a viable and future-oriented location.
As a counterpart to Logistics night, Logistics day has been established as a day-long event for the field of distribution logistics across Germany. Logistics day is a congress with accompanying trade exhibition, addresses current topics and is simultaneously a trade platform and communication platform.
How can North Hesse position itself nationally and internationally as a "Competence region for electric mobility."
Further events addressing e-mobility are organized within the FREE project as well as the e-mobility workgroup.
Within the MoWiN.net network we organize several visits to factories of our members: the so-called Networking-meetings.
Over the last years the Regionalmanagement Nordhessen in cooperation with MoWiN.net has established an innovation event, called North Hessian Collaboration Forum. The idea behind it is quite simple: speed-dating for companies. Company representatives, who registered online and selected potential conversation partners on the MoWiN.net webpage, meet in up to seven 20-minute discussion rounds. Initially, this concept was invented by MoWiN.net to connect the regional mobility sector. Due to the success, this has been expanded and the field of participants is not limited anymore to any special sector, resulting in very interesting pairings, causing unexpected ideas and multi-sectoral collaborations.
